BIOSKETCH

Danny is currently working with Professor Juan Alfonzo at Brown University as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. Danny's work centers on how tRNA modifications can affect translational fidelity in the mitochondrion of Trypanosoma brucei.

Before diving into the world of trypanosomes, Danny was trained as a Chemical Biologist at Academia Sinica and Yale University under the guidance of Professors Yane-Shih Wang and Dieter Söll, working on developing polyspecific aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases as powerful tools for the comprehensive exploration of enzyme biochemistry and protein post-translational modifications.
